One Ampere Nexus electric scooter and the entire length of India to cover. Sounds crazy, right? That's exactly what we did. We did a record-breaking journey. We took the Ampere Nexus from the peaks of Kashmir to the shores of Kanyakumari, covering over 10,000 kilometers. It was an adventure of a lifetime, full of challenges, surprises, and unforgettable moments. Here's our story.

The Grand Flag Off

As we stood at the starting point in Reasi, Jammu and Kashmir, we couldn't help but feel a mix of excitement and trepidation. We were about to embark on an epic journey across India on the Ampere Nexus, an electric scooter that promised to revolutionize sustainable mobility. Little did we know that this ride from Kashmir to Kanyakumari would not only test the limits of this next-generation vehicle but also expose us to the incredible diversity and spirit of our nation.

The Northern Hospitality

The journey began with a heartwarming send-off from the locals in Reasi. Their enthusiasm was contagious, setting the tone for what would be an unforgettable adventure. As we rode towards Pathankot, the city of valor, we felt a surge of patriotism. Celebrating Republic Day here, waving the tricolor alongside the Indian Army at the iconic Atal Setu Bridge, was a moment of immense pride.

Battling the Smog

Chandigarh welcomed us with a thick blanket of smog, a stark reminder of why sustainable transportation solutions is so crucial. The Nexus, with its bright headlamp, cut through the haze, symbolizing hope for a cleaner future. But the city’s warmth was unparalleled, we had a lovely time interacting with children at a special school, teaching them the importance of technology and sustainability. Our large boot space was quite helpful in storing gifts for them. The Auto Day-Night cluster feature was almost like magic to them. Their reactions to this feature left us smiling ourselves.

Capital Milestone

Arriving in Delhi, we were thrilled to realize we had already covered over 1,400 km. The capital city offered a moment of reflection as we stopped at the Red Fort, paying tribute to our nation's rich history. The juxtaposition of this ancient monument with the futuristic Nexus was not lost on us. En route to the capital, we couldn't resist indulging in the city's iconic Chole Bhature. But we didn't stop at just satisfying our own cravings. Taking advantage of the large boot space in #TheNexBigThing, our electric scooter, we decided to carry extra food and distribute it to the hardworking people on the cold city streets.

Green Fields and Golden Sands

The journey through Haryana was a feast for the eyes, with lush green fields stretching as far as the eye could see. In Sonipat, we shared some laughs with locals, spreading the message of sustainable travel one conversation at a time.

Entering Rajasthan, the landscape transformed dramatically. Bikaner's Junagarh Fort and Rampuria Haveli stood as testaments to India's architectural marvels. The golden city of Jaisalmer took our breath away, its sand dunes providing a stunning backdrop for the sleek Nexus. Mandawa's iconic arches, symbols of shelter and warmth for travelers, were key inspirations in our journey. Our Ampere logo arch represents a gateway to a sustainable, electric future, just as Mandawa's arches welcome wanderers.

Resilience Tested

In Gujarat, an unexpected mishap occurred when we were hit by a speeding SUV. The 4x stronger exoskeleton, making our Nex-Gen scooter the safest in the industry, truly lived up to its promise. Despite the impact, our determined rider wasn't ready to give up, firmly believing in the scooter's ability to continue the journey. This incident not only showcased the scooter's durability but also embodied our spirit of resilience. As we said, "Rise. Fall. Rise Again and Take Charge!" - that's the essence behind our challenging yet iconic #K2K ride.

Salt and Sustainability

Gujarat welcomed us with open arms. The Great Rann of Kutch, with its vast expanse of white salt desert, provided a surreal setting to celebrate crossing the 3,500 km mark. Rann Utsav was an immersion of culture where the cultural ethos of Ampere Nexus were witnessed with electrifying energy. In Ahmedabad, a visit to the Sabarmati Ashram reminded us of the values that drive our nation forward. We also spotted a gorgeous couple getting their pre-wedding pics at Sur Sagar Lake in Vadodara! Our Ampere Nexus scooter became an essential part of their love story.

#TheNexBigThing also set an India Book of Records by becoming the first electric scooter to tow a loaded pickup truck. This incredible feat saw our next-gen scooter pulling a whopping 2,000 kg for 2 kms, showcasing its extraordinary strength and redefining electric two-wheeler capabilities.

An Unexpected Encounter

Our buddy Paritosh from our dealership, Green Wheelz Ampere was also riding on the highway when we blew past him. Curious (and maybe a touch challenged!), Paritosh chased after our scooter to see who it was. When he found out, our rider and Paritosh had a laugh about the surprise meeting. They chatted for a bit, proving electric scooters are a welcome addition to the road.

Coastal Chronicles

Mumbai, the city of dreams, embraced the Nexus as if it were a Bollywood star. Our journey through Mumbai with #TheNexBigThing was truly a fusion of style and substance, as the fashion icon of electric scooters met the fashion capital of India. In this vibrant metropolis where every street corner narrates a tale of culture and couture, our next-gen electric scooter found its perfect backdrop. We checked off a major item on our bucket list as our stylish ride gracefully blended into the cityscape, proving that it's not just a mode of transport, but a statement piece. From the bustling streets of Colaba to the iconic beaches,  #TheNexBigThing turned heads and captured imaginations. Its design, rooted in tradition yet inspired by every facet of our country's rich culture, allowed it to fit in seamlessly with Mumbai's eclectic charm. Our visit to Mumbai reinforced our belief that #TheNexBigThing is more than just an electric scooter - it's a mobile art piece, designed to make a statement wherever it goes, even in a city known for setting trends. As we rode towards Goa, the coastal breeze reinvigorated our journey.

The serene beaches of Goa and Gokarna offered a much-needed respite. Here, the Nexus proved its versatility, effortlessly navigating from bustling streets to sandy shores. A brief stopover in Murudeshwar allowed us to soak in the majesty of its famous temple.

Southern Sojourn

Udupi and Mangalore introduced us to the rich culture and cuisine of coastal Karnataka. The aroma of filter coffee in Coorg's plantations provided an energy boost that no charging station could match.

Bengaluru, India's tech hub, felt like a homecoming for the Nexus. The city's blend of tradition and innovation mirrored the ethos of our electric companion. A visit to the iconic Chinnaswamy Stadium reminded of our collaboration with RCB last where we displayed sustainability on the grand stage.

Record-Breaking Feats

We were proud to reveal that our journey had already garnered us four India Book of Records achievements. One record involved creating the largest electric scooter brand logo on the white sands of Dholavira located in the Great Rann of Kutch. The other record showcased the Nexus' power by towing a loaded pickup truck for a significant distance. Additionally, it made history by covering 115+ cities and towns, and completing an unprecedented 10,000 km journey on a single electric scooter. These achievements not only showcase the scooter's exceptional capabilities but also mark a new era in sustainable long-distance travel. These feats solidified the Ampere Nexus' position as a milestone achiever in the electric vehicle landscape.

Returning to the Birthplace

A visit to Coimbatore, the birthplace of Ampere in 2008, brought back nostalgic memories. We revisited the facility where the vision for sustainable mobility began, reflecting on our journey and the electrifying future ahead.

Temple Towns and Winding Roads

As we entered Tamil Nadu, the landscape changed yet again. Madurai's Meenakshi Temple, with its colorful gopurams, was a sight to behold. The Nexus, with its sleek design, didn't look out of place even against this ancient backdrop.

The journey through Kodaikanal's 40 hairpin bends put the Nexus's handling to the test. It passed with flying colors, proving that electric vehicles can take on any terrain.

Demos, and Devoted Fans: #TheNexBigThing's Unforgettable Pit Stops Across India

During our epic K2K journey, we made unforgettable pitstops in Delhi, Vadodara, Salem and many other dealerships. At each stop, our amazing community—customers, dealers, and enthusiasts—gathered to experience #TheNexBigThing firsthand. From exclusive previews to test rides, the excitement was palpable. In Salem, we even met a devoted customer with four Ampere scooters, possibly eyeing his fifth! These heartwarming moments made our challenging ride truly worthwhile.

Turbines and Two-Wheelers: A Sustainable Synergy at

As our epic #K2K journey neared its end, we made one final detour to the Muppandal Wind Farm, India's largest onshore wind energy project. Here, #TheNexBigThing's innovative aerodynamics met its kindred spirit. While the turbines harness wind for power, our scooter uses it for cooling. A fitting finale, symbolizing the dawn of next-gen sustainable mobility.

Journey's End

Finally, after covering over 10,000+ kilometers, we reached Kanyakumari. Standing at the Triveni Sangam, where three great water bodies meet, we felt a profound sense of accomplishment. This journey had not only proven the capabilities of the Ampere Nexus but had also shown us the incredible spirit of India.

A Glimpse into the Future

From the snow-capped mountains of Kashmir to the sunny shores of Kanyakumari, the Nexus had been a reliable companion, never once letting us down. It had attracted curious onlookers, sparked conversations about sustainability, and even set four records recognized by the India Book of Records.

As we looked out at the vast expanse of water, with the Thiruvalluvar Statue and Vivekananda Rock Memorial in the distance, we realized that this journey was more than just a test ride. It was a glimpse into the future of mobility in India - a future that's clean, efficient, and exciting.

The Nexus Legacy

The Ampere Nexus had lived up to its name, truly becoming 'The Nex Big Thing' in the world of electric vehicles. And as for us? We were already planning our next adventure, ready to take charge and electrify every gully of India.
